Our House Stands

Good news, bad news. My brother, sister-in-law and family are fine--thank you, Father! On a sadder note, his 2 story house didn't make it. The bottom floor ended up in his neighbor's yard, and the top floor is where the first floor would have been. Please be in prayer for them.

My sister-in-law, Penny, drove by our house and my parent's house and everything on the outside was fine. She was not able to go inside and look, but our house IS standing--thank you again, Father, for your blessings of keeping us safe.

Our next step is to go down there, but we're not sure of when that will be of when they will let us in the city. We are just waiting word. When we know anything, we will keep you posted, via the blog.

Thank you for all your many prayers--we covet them. We do ask that you pray we find what to do now as far as where to go from there. We went to Biloxi in mind that we would benefit from the beach, tourism, and air force base. So we are not going to be able to stay.

Thanks again.

I'm sorry to hear that your brother's home did not fare well with the hurricane. I pray that they will be able to rebuild.

Praise the Lord that your house still stands. I will keep you in mind of what direction you should take in your future since the plans of Biloxi is pretty much wiped out because of Katrina.
