Summer Pictures

For Mom

I've been meaning to get this picture up for my mom so she could see Morgan up close in the dress she wore when she was young. Posted by Picasa

Thanksgiving Day

We had Thanksgiving at our friend's house. A lot of you have heard about the Websters, well, this is them! We had a great time. The food was awesome and so was the fellowship. Also with us were the Dixon's--also ones you've heard of! Posted by Picasa

I thought

I thought this was going to be one of those pictures that would win an award or something. We were on our way to church last week, and the sun was just hitting Gabby in the face, and she had a piece of hair dangling down (she moved it right in time, of course). Yes, I took the picture, but if you're my mom reading this, it was not me--it was, ugh....on a timer or something, yep, that's it. Posted by Picasa

See Ian?

Ian was so excited to get to dig into the pumpkin (like on Charlie Brown, he said), but once we got that thing open, he was scarce. He didn't want anything to do with it! Posted by Picasa

Roasting Pumpkin Seeds

This reminded me of Rhea when they used to get the seeds out of the pumpkin and roast them. I had no idea that could be done (domestically). We had fun. We (I) ended up burning the pumpkin seeds. I found the recipe off the internet, and much to my surprise, there were a lot of recipes. Posted by Picasa

Amy and Gabby

This is one of Gabby's friends. We thought it was funny that the girls showed up to church in the same outfits and it wasn't planned (now that I think about it, maybe they did plan it)! Posted by Picasa

Proud Kids

The Dixon girls went with us to see Beauty & the Beast. Here is a picture of all their little faces that were so proud Stanzie. You did a good job, Stanzie! Posted by Picasa

Beauty & the Beast

This is Stanzie (a girl, by the way!) She was in a play, Beauty and the Beast at her school. She was a napkin and also a townsman that didn't like the beast. Posted by Picasa

Love is...

Love is, going back into Wal-mart (after you've been there an hour) dodging people with your four kids to retrieve a yellow Hot Wheel car. Posted by Picasa

Larry Boy

Frick and Frack--they are getting to be pretty chummy. In this picture they are watching Larry Boy. "Oh Larry Boy, we need you now................" Posted by Picasa

Mouth

This is one of those "mouth" moments. Posted by Picasa

Making Pillows

Here Gabby is getting a pillow ready to sew. She is pinning the lace to the fabric. We'll show a finished project after I figure out how to fix her little sewing machine. Posted by Picasa

AWE!!!!!!!!!

Ian just loves "Bugart"--the name Morgan has given Caelin. Ian is "Bubba," and I guess that is how she differentiates the two. Caelin is so funny. He gets pretty frustrated with Ian (we pretty much all do) with his babbling on and not making sense. But we hear Caelin tell Ian, "IAN, YOU"RE MAKING MY MOUTH DRY, JUST HUSH!" I don't really know what that means, but I guess Caelin is feeling sorry for Ian's mouth! (You will notice when I get Ian's professional pictures figured on the blog, how he always does his mouth goofy. We had to really work with him to get him "normal." Posted by Picasa

Gabby "nailing" the 95 theses to the church door. Posted by Picasa

Reformation Day

We had a little Reformation Day Party at our home with our friend's, the Dixon's. The kids just got done searching for candy that was hidden. The Dixon girls were so sweet--Morgan looked so puzzled what was going on, and each of the girls picked candy up and threw into her bag--so sweet! Posted by Picasa

News From Nowhere

Hello from Westgate Mall in Amarillo, Texas. Robby and I have opened up a kiosk in the mall; in fact, I am here now "working." As you can tell, we are not too busy. Mondays, well all the weekdays are pretty slow. Things got pretty busy this weekend, and closer it gets to Thanksgiving, the busier we will get. After the New Year, we are not sure what will be as far as WHERE we will be. We are loving the area where we are and would be happy to remain. We are missing family, and with the holidays coming up, it is going to be hard. We have a contract here at the mall until the end of January, so we, will for the first time, being missing Christmas with the family. BUT FAMILY (OR FRIENDS) ARE WELCOME HERE!

The mall has been playing some 80's/Oldies music, and is taking me back in time.

...Wish they all could be California girls.....

Please keep Bud and his family in your prayers. They are still living with my mom and dad. They are keeping their chins up and keeping busy. Penny is working in NICU at the hospital there, and my brother teaches at a school. I talked to him recently and was surprised to hear him say they lost 10% of the students, but all survived the hurricane. I imagine it will take a while for rebuilding the city. My mom said that the motto for Biloxi is that it is going to be bigger and better.

...song I don't know, but it is depressing....

The BX, where our kiosk was set up was totally demolished as they will rebuild that and the commissary. We have been able to "rebuild" our business with many friends and family helping us out. PLUG: We've been able to add to the business a mug and stein press, so if you need a gift this year for that person that has everything, keep us in mind! Happy Birthday Nana!

Today is my mom's birthday. Hope you have a great day, Mom!
Mom is getting ready for her big month of selling at Acadian
Village in Lafayette, LA. She sells many items dealing with
cajun craft, so if you're in Lafayette to pass a good time,
go by and see her!
