Sorry, No Pictures

No pictures, but just wanted to give a little update to let you know we are still alive. We've opened our 2nd (temporary) location at the mall, and it is keeping us super busy. I don't think I've ever been as busy as this, but as soon as Christmas is over, I am planning on a 3 hour nap, a good book, and some good cuddling time with the kids (not necessarily in that order), but it will probably work out that way!

I can't get any pictures posted because the wire for the camera is at the mall. We don't have internet at the mall, but I had to download the camera at the mall location. That is where I have been working mostly, so I am cut off from the world, especially since my cell phone doesn't work in the store.

I went to the doctor today, and I am at 25 weeks. I am measuring 29 weeks. The doctor said it is not unusal for a woman to to be a off by a few weeks, but I am off by four. She isn't worried about it. She said the baby is probably positioned in a weird way. If I am measuring big next month, then we will go in for an ultra-sound just to check things out. So far I've gained only 7 1/2 pounds, so I am doing well in that area--it isn't that I am eating that much.

We are getting ready for the Christmas parade here. It will be going right by our store, so we are hoping to draw in some customers.

Science Experiment

 In science, Caelin has been learning about volcanoes, so we made a replica of one out of a sprite bottle, newspaper, flour and water (for the paste), and green paint. We had fun putting it together. He let Ian and Morgan help paint, and they were excited about what was going to happen. We had to keep reminding them that when we did the experiment that hot lava was not going to come out and their toys and things around would be safe. Ian cannot wait until 2nd grade to be able to do this project!
