For those that don't know the story about my sister-in-law and her lost wedding ring....Penny is a nurse in Biloxi, and she works with infants in the nursery. The night she had to work, and before going in to work, she was washed dishes and had taken her ring off. She didn't put it back on, because, working with infants, the nurses weren't able to wear them. Since there was a hurricane brewing, she was instructed to bring 3 days worth of clothing--just in case. She left for work, not thinking that would be the last time she would walk out her door and not thinking that her ring was up on the window shelf would be washed away with Katrina. Here it is 6 months later...My mom called me this morning with news that bulldozers were getting the remnants of the house. My brother told the crew that before they go over there and start their work, to call him, he wanted to be there. Well, I probably don't have to tell you the rest, but he found the ring while they were clearing the area. Praise God................

Hey Rachel! How have you been? Are you home-schooling this year, or are you going to school? Hope it is going well for you!
Praise God is right! That is a miracle! What a wonderful God we serve who cares about even small details...like wedding rings! We women know how important they are...and I am glad that we serve a God who does, too!
Thanks for sharing!
thanks! I am being homeschooled right now but next year I will join Amy at the public school.

God is so amazing. This sounds like a story you should send into Chicken Soup for the Soup. Thanks for the heartwarming story.
