Robby came up with a tradition between us, even before we were married--that we were to take turns each year to write to one another. This year was my year, so here is my poem.
A Stolen Heart
To my husband, could it be that fifteenth year?
When you wrote the first poem with the mark of William Shakespeare?
Where has the time gone from that most momentous day
"A Rose Will Bloom," the title, and you the one for whom I prayed.
Our love, was sowed, the seed of it, strong and with holds time.
For you see, God has planted it–so precious, so beautiful, so divine.
He gave us gifts one to another, and just one thing I have to say,
I will never leave you nor forsake you as I promised you upon our wedding day.
Thank you for being our head and for washing me with the Word.
You have a great and mighty job–I am truly blessed--that is for sure.
You have the weight of this world sometimes upon your shoulders,
but God is your delight nonetheless even as we grow older.
My heart has been stolen– you the unmistakable thief.
Had I loved another and not met you– me oh my, good grief!
I could not stand to miss it, this love, this time, these years.
For you, Robby, are my life, my love, the one I respect and revere.

Of Few Words Lately
I have been neglegent in writing and posting lately. We have had quite a 2008 year and 2009 looks like it is going to follow in the same path--busy! To start off, we have sold our business and will be looking to move sometime after May. I asked God for a Christmas miracle, and WOW, He gave us one! We sold the shop December 23, and we are still rejoicing. We still want to have our business on a smaller scale for now and grow it as the family grows and can help out more. Robby is going to be teaching at a school in Arkadelphia at Ouachita Baptist, but the job is for just one semester. God is really working in our family as we are growing and learning in Him--our eyes opening to so many truths. Please be praying for us as we seek His will for our lives. We want to glorify Him and enjoy Him forever!
