This is my brother's 2nd story house. The first floor is in the back of their house in a neigbor's yard. They were, since the fram was still up to retrieve some things from their house. Posted by Picasa
This a business that is a block over from my parent's house. We thought this would determine what the houses looked like on our road. Several trees were down, but only one on our road hit a house. It was miraculous to see all the massive trees down and only one hit a house! Posted by Picasa
There are moments of crying and moments to make light of the situation. This is my brother, Bud (Ben). I believe he found his fishing gear. Fishin' anyone?  Posted by Picasa
On the way to work at my brother's house, we saw this house and had to get a picture. Posted by Picasa
This is the Shark Store. In the front of the store was a man-made shark head. When you would walk in the store, you had to walk through the shark. We visited this tourist place many a time just this summer. We are all sad to see the shark sail away. Posted by Picasa
This is my nephew, Christopher. He's making the best of the situation despite he lost most of all his belongings. Posted by Picasa
My brother, Greg took these pictures. He said that there was a mauseliem >SP? Anyway in the same place, and he said they were all open. Thanks, Greg, for not sending those pics! Posted by Picasa
This is my brother, Greg; he came from Lafayette to help out my brother and his family, although I am not sure this is his toilet or a neighbors. Actually this looks like a shopping center parking lot. Pretty far away from where a toilet should be! Posted by Picasa
This is where Robby was doing a festival Saturday--two days before Katrina. Posted by Picasa

Going to Biloxi

We wanted to let everyone know that we are heading to Biloxi this afternoon (Friday). Please be in prayer for us. Also, be in prayer for the kids and their grandparents. The kids are doing well despite they don't have their toys and home. Pappaw brought out the above ground swimming pool, so that will help the kids get some of there energy out without zapping them too much with this hot weather.

I talked to my mom this morning. My dad and brother left for Biloxi about 5a.m. They made it there safely; in fact, my brother picked up the phone to see if it would work, and it did. They did not have electricity, but they are very sure that they will be getting it soon, as Ocean Springs does.

My brother's house looked like a yard sale yesterday as people found out about my brother and his family. People are sending clothes, food, towels, everything you could imagine. Bless those people!

We covet your prayers and will keep in touch as soon as possible. Our cell #'s, although they may not work are:
